“Psychotherapy with children for me means especially the opportunity to create something new and grow through many safe and playful experiments. For example, Joseph Zinker states that an experiment has the power to transform rigidity into a flexible client´s support system. It does not have to be demanding, serious, or even fit exactly. It may be theatrical, cheerful, crazy, transcendental, metaphysical, humorous …
This led to the idea of using the world of computer games, animations and experiments in the therapeutic process.I also believe that children, like adults, long for the truth and understanding of themselves and the world around them. The process of storytelling is also a process of integration in which individual experiences and memories gain their place in time and space and take on meaning.
This is why the idea was born to develop programs which can help us together with children to create the healing stories of their lives in therapy.
Like all adults, I sometimes fear that I’m too old to be able to enter the realm of fantasy and give things new names. Our wish is that our programs are at least one small grain of sand that can inspire children and adults to tell their own endless stories.
With love, I dedicate my work to children who find themselves in trouble, and to adults who are looking to help them. “
