Our company collects and stores information about you (the user) regarding the personal data entered through electronic information carriers or in printed form (invoices) in a secured database. As an administrator, we protect personal data to the fullest extent possible using modern technologies that correspond to the level of technical development and we declare that we have taken all possible, i.e. known precautions, to ensure that we are able to prevent unauthorized third-party intervention.

Who processes your data?
We are GAMES 4 THERAPY Ltd., Business ID 066 17 808, Šaldova Street 549/8, Židenice, 615 00 Brno; registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Regional Court in Brno, Section C, Insert No. 103223 and as the administrator we will process your personal data according to the conditions set out below.

How is your personal data processed?
We only process the personal information you provide to us in connection with the use of our services as part of the registration and ordering of any of our paid products.
We do not process any sensitive personal information pursuant to the General Personal Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
The following is the most common information you provide when registering:
- Email address
- Password in an encrypted form
- Name and surname
- Information on whether or not you have completed at least a Master’s degree
- The name of the psychotherapeutic training you have undergone / institute or association where you are registered as a psychotherapist or associate
- Number of hours of psychotherapeutic training / Your registration number
and the information we receive from you by placing an order on our e-shop:
- The name of your business or organization (optional)
- Billing address including country
- Your phone number
- Email address
- Your ID and Tax ID (optional)
- Information whether you are / are not a VAT payer
and data that we already receive from you by using our services
- cookies (for online services)

Why and based on what do we process your personal data?
The main reason we process your personal information is to manage your user accounts for our services in order to provide you with the services you are interested, whether free or paid (including administration and payment in the case of paid services).
We only provide services and products to users who have completed at least a master’s degree in psychotherapeutic training. This is how we prevent the use of our products by users without appropriate professional training and also by minors.
We process your data:
By law, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) in Article 6 allows us to process your data in the following cases:
- processing is necessary to meet the purchase contract to which the data subject is a contract party
- processing is necessary to meet the legal obligation that the administrator applies (especially tax laws)
- Processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the relevant administrator (direct marketing and newsletters, analytics of our site visitors, records and analyses of our business processes)
We do not need your active consent to process your personal data to the above extent. Therefore, we do not actively ask for your consent when registering or ordering our services. However, we inform you about the processing of personal data at that point because we are obliged to do so.

How long do we process your data?
We will process your data throughout the use of our services (that is, the duration of the contractual relationship between us) and then for a further 10 years, as this is what the tax rules oblige us to do. These include, for example, the obligation to conduct tax records, including invoices, for 10 years.
Here, however, we would like to point out to you that the personal data that is necessary for the proper provision of the service, or to fulfill all of our obligations, whether these obligations arise from a contract between us or from generally binding legal regulations, we must process the data whatever your consent has been given for as long as it is stipulated by applicable laws or in accordance with them, even after the withdrawal of your consent.
We process the data obtained during the registration process for the duration of the use of the registered service and usually 2 years after you do not extend your lifetime license to our products. Overall, 3 years after your registration if you do not purchase the lifetime license. Your account is then canceled and all associated data deleted (including your email addresses).
Once you purchase The Lifetime License, we process your personal data during the current activity of the company and for a further 10 years. You may at any time appeal against the processing of your personal data by sending an email to: info@games4therapy.com. Revocation of consent is without prejudice to the possibility to continue processing your personal data and also does not affect the processing of personal data that we process on a legal basis other than consent (i.e., in particular, if processing is necessary to fulfill the contract, legal obligation or for other reasons referred to in current legislation).
The data is processed during the current activity of the company and for a further 10 years in order to fulfill other legal obligations in connection with the company’s business.

Who will have access to your data?
Your data is safe with us. We carefully choose our partners to whom we entrust your data and who are able to provide you with the technical and organizational security of your data to prevent unauthorized or accidental access to your data or other misuse. Protecting your data is our priority. All our partners are bound by the confidentiality obligation and must not use the data provided for any purpose other than that to which we have made it available to them. With all of them, we have also concluded Processing contracts.
Third parties (processors) who may have access to your personal data by the nature of the service you use or have used are:

- Under certain, well-defined conditions, we are required to transfer some of your personal information under applicable laws, such as to the Czech Police, other authorities involved in criminal proceedings, including specialized departments (Organized Crime Department, Customs, etc.) and other public authorities.

What are cookies and what types of cookies do we use?
Cookies are small data files, thanks to which, visited websites can remember the actions and settings of individual users, so they do not need to re-enter the data. Cookies are stored on individual computers using a web browser. Cookies are not a hazard, they do not serve to get any sensitive personal information, but they are important for privacy protection. We do not use cookies to determine the identity of website users or abuse credentials.
For example, cookies let users recognize you as an existing user (for example, when logging in to your email account, authorizing a payment, etc.).
Another group are third-party cookies (such as Google Analytics for analyzing the traffic of a specific website or certain services or cookies of the advertising system operators on our site). These cookies are managed by third parties and we do not have access to reading or editing this information.
You as a user can reject cookies. However, it is possible that in some cases it will not be possible to display a certain service or product without using cookies.

Can we process your personal information without your consent?
Yes, we may process your personal information without your consent but only for the following purposes
- provision of a service or product (fulfillment of a contract between you and us, where the contract also constitutes the actual use of a particular service without the need to sign anything);
- fulfillment of the legal obligations that result from generally binding legal regulations (e.g. we are obliged to keep operational and localization data on the basis of Act No. 127/2005 Coll., On electronic communications); or
- processing that is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests (e.g. direct marketing, ensuring the security of our sites).
The possibility and legality of such processing results directly from applicable legal regulations, and your consent to such processing is not necessary.

As has been said, we may process your personal information, for example, on our legitimate interest (in particular processing for direct marketing) or to fulfill the agreements concluded between us, to the extent of the personal data required to do so. Last but not least, a reason for us to process your personal data without your consent is to fulfill our obligations under our law. How is my personal data secured?
All personal information you provide is secured by standard procedures and technologies. However, it is not objectively possible to fully guarantee the security of your personal data. Therefore, it is not 100% possible to ensure that personal data provided cannot be accessed by a third party, cannot be copied, published, altered or destroyed by breaking our security measures.
In this regard, however, we assure you that we regularly check that the system is free from vulnerabilities and is not exposed to attacks and that we use such safeguards to prevent unauthorized access to your personal data as far as possible and provide, with respect to the current technology, security. The security measures adopted are then regularly updated.
To protect your personal data better, access to this data is password-protected, and sensitive data is encrypted when transferred between your browser and our website.
Without your help and responsible behavior, however, we are not able to fully guarantee the security of your data. So, help us ensure the security of your data by keeping your unique passwords and other access information for our services secret and by following the basic security guidelines. Please keep in mind that emails, instant messaging, blogs, and other types of communication with other web users are not encrypted. Therefore, we strongly recommend not to use these forms of communication when providing confidential information.

Do I have to provide my personal data? What if I do not provide my personal data?
You provide us with your personal information voluntarily (for certain services, however, some personal information is required to access the service and you will not be able to use this service if you do not submit this information to us).
Processing your personal information, often only anonymously, without being able to identify you as a specific user, allows us to continually improve and develop our services. If you do not give us your consent, or you subsequently rescind it, it may result that we will no longer be able to provide you with some of our services, that we will not be able to provide you with it in full or in proper quality. However, it is not your obligation to use our services.

In relation to your personal data, you have the following rights in particular:
- the right to appeal against the processing of personal data;
- the right to edit or add personal information;
- the right to request processing restrictions;
- the right to object or to complain against processing in certain cases;

- the right to confirm the processing of your personal data. In this context, you have the right to receive one free listing at your request each year.

What does it mean you have the right to object to sending commercial communications?
If you do not like to receive from us from time to time any business announcements or other news about our product and service portfolio, you have the opportunity to object to the further processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes. If you do so, we will not process your data for this purpose, and we will not send you further business messages or newsletters. You will have the opportunity to unsubscribe directly in any newsletter from our company.

Access to our clients’ personal data
G4T has no remote access to data or any other creations that arise while working with G4T software (pictures, books, stored data). The user is fully responsible for the processing and protection of their content. In no event shall G4T be held responsible for any losses or damages to, or the sharing of, such data.
